Pastor Derrell Young has been serving the body of Christ for 14 years and has planted four Young Adult Ministries in Raleigh, Greensboro, Memphis TN, and the most recent being in Charlotte North Carolina; he served as the Young Adult Pastor at Mount Carmel Baptist Church under the leadership of Dr. Casey Kimbrough. Pastor Young is currently earning his Master of Divinity (M.Div.) at Gordon Conwell Theological Seminary while planting a church, Centrum Church, in the South Park area of Charlotte North Carolina. He is married to his best friend De’Maris Young and they enjoying watching action movies together with Hot Chocolate!

De'Maris Young, the wife of Derrell Young, is dedicated to being an example and encourager to others to live their full potential in Christ through humor, transparency and patience. She has a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Speech Pathology and a Masters in Educational Research Learning Technology. De’Maris is currently expanding her fitness company, Demi GoFit, in Charlotte, NC while assisting in the church plant of Centrum Church; her passions are Christ, fitness and animals.
